WHAT IS INVOLVED WITH YOUR CONTRACT AT SAX?

If you’ve been through training at Tactical Training Division, you already have an idea of what it takes to be a security professional at Sax Executive Protection. Our various roles include:

  • Area Security-security involving long linear development project sites, such as roads or power lines. Area security involves security services provided over a large and changing area of land. Area security may include (1) providing all security requirements necessary to create a “security bubble” around construction operations, usually for long linear development projects; (2) client estates, school campuses, office building and warehouses; and (3) providing area and point security at overnight equipment parks within the construction area.
  • Agents-personnel who are authorized by a party to the contract to act on their behalf. Agents may be employees of the party or consultants hired to act on the party’s behalf. Agents who are not employees of a party must be authorized to act on the party’s behalf in writing.
  • Fixed Site Security-security involving the fixed and non-mobile provision of security of personnel and/or equipment at static locations. Locations may be semipermanent (such as a construction site) or permanent (such as client estates, school campuses, office buildings, warehouses, headquarters or project sites).
  • Guards-any person engaged, assigned or employed by SEP to provide security services.
  • Guard Supervisors-an SEP supervisor who is responsible for providing command and oversight to SEP guards and who acts as the shift supervisor in charge of all guards assigned to the site during a given shift and who shall report directly to the guard manager. SEP will have the right to assign a supervisor to a particular contract site at its discretion based on the operational needs of the particular contract and the number of SEP guards at the site. If SEP decides to place a supervisor at the contract site, it shall give the client reasonable advance notice.
  • Guard Manager-an SEP manager who is responsible for providing command and control direction to both supervisors and SEP guards as the senior site manager. SEP will have the right to assign a manager(s) to a particular contract site at its discretion based on the operational needs of the particular contract and the number of SEP guards at the site. If SEP decides to place a manager(s) at the contract site, it shall give the client reasonable advance notice.
  • Site-The area, location or route for which security services are to be provided. For the purposes of this contract, Site may refer to either a fixed location or a mobile area. It is specifically understood that a mobile protection requirement for personnel or goods falls under the definition of Site. The Site will be described in more detail in Annex C of your contract, the Scope of Work
