PPO's are regulated by Bureau of Security and Investigates Services (BSIS). Which mandates that all Executive Protection Agents and Security Officers meet all BSIS certification requirements.
WILL THERE BE A REQUIRED CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK?Yes, there are two (2) background checks required during admissions. (1) A state and federal mandated LIVE SCAN will be conducted for Police Officer Standard Training (POST) and Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS).
(2) Students will receive a pre-admissions background check through Tactical Training Division.
WHAT THINGS THAT ARE FOUND ON A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND REPORT THAT WILL PREVENT SOMEONE FROM BEING ACCEPTED AT TACTICAL TRAINING DIVISION?The following criminal statements found on a criminal background report that would prevent a students admissions are:
Any Felony crimes such as: Carrying a gun without a license, Robbery, Burglary, Battery, Drug, and Sex offenses, Etc.
